Four Heartbeats, One Rhythm

“Four Heartbeats, One rhythm” is a multi-faceted kaleidoscope of historical, social and cultural vignettes of life in Palestine, creating in the process an evocative tapestry that attempts to capture a cherished yet disappearing past.

It features the distinctive and celebrated Palestinian dance form known as “The Dabke” as well as vintage live performances of some Palestinian and Arabic music classics.

Dabke, whilst matching the virtuosity and collective dynamism of Irish and Greek dancing has nonetheless a unique and distinctively colorful style which has inspired and enthralled audiences throughout the world for many years.
