Performance: Watch traditional dances from refugees’ countries of origin. In collaboration with ‘Dance Around The World’, a community arts organisation which promotes the folk arts and supports cultural exchange. Part of Refugee Week 2011 at the V&A.

Watch vibrant and colourful folk dance performances and even join in yourself. Acclaimed performers of traditional dance and music provide a unique insight into their richly varied refugee cultures. Performances last approximately 30-45 minutes:

13.00 Al Zaytouna – Palestinian “Dabke” dance
13.45 Akhtamar Armenian Performance Group – Armenian dance
14.30 Olga Fulaha – Rwandan dance
15.15 Yurupari – Colombian dance
